Kephart Announces Traffic Safety Funding for Morris Township

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield) today announced that Morris Township in Clearfield County is receiving over $100,000 in ARLE funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

“This funding makes it possible to enhance traffic safety in our community,” shared Kephart.

Morris Township is receiving $101,250 for an upgrade to the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Route 53 (Philipsburg-Bigler Highway), Ninth Street and Troy Hill Road.

ARLE funding is available to projects which improve safety, enhance mobility and reduce congestion.
