Kephart Announces Multimodal Grant Award
December 30, 2025
HARRISBURG – Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield) announced that Boggs Township received a grant through the Multimodal Transportation Fund for road improvements.
“Ensuring motorists have properly constructed and maintained roads is a core function of government,” Kephart said. “This funding in particular will help to greatly improve a road that is in need of repair, which will decrease the wear and tear on vehicles.”
The $118,822 grant will be used for base repair and pavement improvements on Hemlock Road.
The Multimodal Transportation Fund provides financial assistance to municipalities, councils of governments, businesses, economic development organizations, public transportation agencies, and ports and rail freight entities. By improving transportation assets, this program seeks to enhance communities, pedestrian safety and transit revitalization.
Applications for the next round of Multimodal Transportation Fund grants will be accepted starting Monday, Jan. 5, and the deadline to submit applications is 4 p.m. on Feb. 13. Grant recipients are expected to be announced this coming summer. Additional information about the program and funded projects is available at the PennDOT website.
